The Role

We are seeking an Account Executive to join our quickly growing mid-market / enterprise sales team. In this role, you will work closely with the VP of Revenue and will be an integral part in elevating Artemis’ already proven success.  The right candidate will have a proven track record in creating new opportunities, nurturing / closing deals and will be responsible for prospecting, outreaching and developing new leads within their assigned territories. In addition, the entrepreneurial candidate will work closely with our marketing and customer success teams to ensure client needs are being met accordingly.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of sales experience, and is a self-motivated, collaborative team-player.  We're looking for someone who enjoys the hustle of a startup and is always willing to go the extra mile.

As an Account Executive, you will:

Prospect new leads, provide detailed product demonstrations, negotiate and close your own deals

Maintain relationships with farmers and work with CS to acquire expansion opportunities

Work with product team to incorporate grower feedback into product development

Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual quotas

Prioritize and manage your sales pipeline in Salesforce

Represent Artemis at trade shows and events

Utilize innovative sales tactics/methodologies to perform at a high level

Track phone calls, emails and overall activity using Salesforce

Provide monthly forecasts on the sales pipeline

Helpful Skills & Experience You’ll Need to Succeed

3-5 years of SaaS sales experience, closing deals over $50K

Ability to prospect, nurture and maintain executive level relationships

Professional consultative skills: you can bring insights to partners with executive presence and clarity, enabling them to take bold, impactful action and habituating them to seek your strategic advice.

A results- and efficiency-oriented mindset, balanced with adaptability and a positive attitude.

Desire for fanatical customer service and need to do right by your customers

Experience with Salesforce a plus

College/University graduate with 4-year degree preferred
